Gurernsey/Alderney/Sark&Herm/Jethou
The four Channel Islands cast a special magic over me. Every time I land
in these places they have a special charm that the visitor carries away
to another world back in time. More than just passive rocks standing out
of a featureless sea, these islands have a strong magic power and few
people are not moved by the experience
Alderney and Sark are
very special and hold within a very important part of history. The
Germans tried to turn these islands into a jumping hub to occupy
England, but in the end, the great invasion didn’t take place. We are
left with a lot of monuments that impede us forgetting the past
Sark is
a unique place without motorcars, which are forbidden on the island. The
bridge between Sark and little - Sark was built by forced labor from
Europe by the Germans
ORKNEY

The total population of the islands was 23,000 inhabitants effective
1993. Although these islands are under the English Laws, they have their
autonomy and home ruling. They have their own airline - Logan Air - that
is operated under the British Airways group. Orkney
was also important base for the Royal Navy during World War two. The
visitor can find a very large variety of flora & fauna. that is very
unique to this place. The cliffs of Orkney are one of the most important
areas in the whole of the northern globe and in the North Atlantic area.
Nearly a million seabirds reach the island in their migratory journey
every year .The same goes for the sea inhabitants. You can find
dolphins, 10 species of whales, otters, grey seals, lobsters, shrimps,
